Jordan is a safe country with a very friendly people. Although the official
language is Arabic however more than half of our citizens
speak English.
Once you leave the airport, there are 3 options for you to get to
your chosen hotel:-
If you arrive on March 18th, between 8:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m., a
JUST student will be waiting for you at the exit gate
holding a sign for you to recognize (DCCA 2007). Please
approach the student to be guided to our free bus.
The bus will go round trips between the airport and the hotels. The bus will
leave the airport at 8:00 p.m. for the first time, and then
every two hours. However, if you have any additional
questions our guidance will be able to answer you.
The second choice is to take an airport taxi, it will charge you
around 8-15 JD (Each JD is 0.70 US). Airport taxis offer a
24 hour services and they have an office at the airport; you
can get a ticket from their office most of the time. You
should ask the driver to drop you in front of your hotel
exactly. The distance from the airport to the hotel (all the
three hotels) is between 30-40 minutes depending on the
traffic.
The third choice is to take the airport bus. The airport bus charges around
1 JD for each passenger and around 0.5 for each bag. It will
drop you in the Al-Abddli (the last stop). From there, you
can take a tax. The taxi will charge you between 2-3 JD at
most. Please note that all taxicabs in Jordan are colored
yellow, and they must work with meter.
The intercontinental hotel is located between the second and third circle
phone # , the Jerusalem hotel is located at the University
street phone # , The Palmyra hotel is located at
around 80 meter from the University street ( It is between
Jordan University and Majdi Mall- Take first right after
Majdi Mall when you are coming from Suwhiah). The phone
number of the hotel is 962 – 6 – 5339939).
For your second day in Jordan Tuesday March 20th, free buses will
be waiting for you at the front of your hotel to take you to
Jordan University of Science and Technology.

Notes:
The weather will be moderate around 12-16 C. (not too warm expected to be
chilly early morning and late night).
The price of 1 JD for Dollar is 0.70 and for Euro is around 0.92.
